It is well known that Nikola Tesla, the genius of electricity, spent his last days feeding pigeons. In the painting, we see the bird perched on a puddle of greenish water. The puddle reflects the green light from the stained-glass windows of the Salesforce building, across from Bryant Park. The artist, a Tesla fan, is pleased to find a pigeon in the same spot. Could it be a descendant of those pigeons?
