Digitalism

A bridge between physical and digital worlds. A new era in which technology is medium, support and environment for artistic creation.

Digitalism does not reject matter. It liberates artistic language from one material, one technique or one place. Satellite images, software, artificial intelligence, painting, projection and 3D printing can inhabit the same work.

Founded by Cristiano Chaussard, the movement honours the legacy of Modernism while opening art to hybrid realities, global audiences and new forms of authorship.

Biography

Art as a way of seeing what is still becoming.

Cristiano Chaussard is a Brazilian visual artist and founder of Digitalism. His practice combines digital processes, photography, physical supports and immersive environments.

Since 2019, his work has crossed continents through international art fairs and exhibitions. Rather than placing technique at the centre, he uses it to investigate perception, human imagination and the continuous exchange between tangible and virtual realities.
